NODA Nomination

KMTC receive Nomination for Best Review

Knutsford Musical Theatre Company are nominated for the National Operatic and Dramatic Association award of "Best Concert or Review" for our 2012 production "A Salute to Sondheim".

To receive a nomination is terrific and hopefully we may win the award. This will be announced in Blackpool on the May Bank Holiday. It is a fantastic achievement so well done to all involved in the production and also a huge thank you to all out fantastic supporters and fans.

Let's Meet Up!

On the 20th February at Shawheath Club there will be a get together for the committee to share with the company our plans for the rest of the year.

This will also give you the opportunity to hear a potted version of "Act Your Age" and some of the music.
We will also want your thoughts and ideas on developing a Concert Party and which shows might be right for us for 2014 onwards (taking into account one big show and one smaller production each year).

We would be grateful if you could be there for 7:30 to start, as we are sure it will be a busy evening, with time for everyone to make a contribution.
I'm really looking forward to seeing lots of you and please feel free to bring any prospective new members along.
Lesley Reed on behalf of the KMTC Committee.

Youth Group "Dazzle" Audition Panel

The young members of our youth group, KMYT, blew away the panel at the auditions for their upcoming show "Dazzle".

12 members of the group stepped up to audition for a principal part in the show, showing some incredible talent and confidence to leave the panel with a tough decision to make in the coming week.

Remember some of these members are only 9 years old, and to be able to sing solo in front of 3 adults is an amazing feat.

Congratulations to all

We are one tankard short from props hire, can everyone please check at home to make sure they haven't still got it by accident.
